These are the Jabba The Hutt sneakers. They come in this strikingly Jabba green colour. The bumps in the green leather are just like his ugly, bumpy, fatty skin. The gold on the shoe’s sole represents his gold belly. but the best detail that tops this whole shoe off are the lace clips that read 'GANGSTER'. When you consider all that, these sneakers are really wierd...but Jabbas the universes biggest gangster...cant mess with that!

PUMA CHUCK UPS & CRAFTY THIEVES!

As part of the SUEDE STREET CAMPAIGN we thew around 24 pairs of PUMAs up onto power lines & lamp posts around the CBD...needless to say some of them didn't even last up there a full week! Despite careful placement in impossible reach locations... in oncoming traffic...somehow (for a pair of PUMAs) people will overcome any obstacle! Understandable... but still unbelievable!

We caught this guy red handed outside the store yesterday with a make shift wooden device...he was rather disappointed to find out (in this case)... they were two left sample shoes! haha

GROTESK

How does a Swiss born, Belgian trained, graphic designer end up doing t-shirts for Spike Lee, collaborating with Bushwick graffiti vandals, and earning a Phd in vintage American sports uniforms? Kimou Meyer, aka Grotesk, arrived in New York at precisely the moment when the new downtown art scene spilled over into stores, products and brands. Over ten years, Kimou worked with or for almost all the key players in that ever-changing game, drawing on his classical training and fresh eyes on the city to develop an iconic graphic language and style



We really dig his style here at the shelf and have had quite a few of his products in stock including upper playground tees which sold out really fast. We have a book of his art and prints currently in stock which gives you an insight into this artwork and insparations. Check it out.

Recently Cool Cats Weekend took place in Paris. Filled with parties and Ed Banger Records DJ Sets, Cool Cats of course also had a pop-up store in place. There they offered a first look at the Puma x Cool Cats x colette Biomega Bike.

ADIDAS X STARWARS - BOBA FETT

You may not like Star Wars’ famed bounty hunter, Boba Fett, but in the continued saga of Star Wars x Adidas Originals, the epic tale of good versus evil thrives in the galaxy far, far, away and here, and you can’t tell the story without your villains. Thus, Boba Fett is a key player in the new collection for Star Wars x Adidas Originals



Included in the bounty hunter pack are his very own rendition of track jacket and ZX800 running shoes. The sneakers are designed to look like Fett’s degenerate olive suit. The upper nicely imitates the outfit of Boba, Combining durability with functionality and least of all, that true bounty hunter style that will leave other kicks shaking.



The track top mimics his suit more literally. With green accents matching the shoes and Fett’s suit, the bluish-grey details adds to Fett’s steely style, and the jacket also features his insignia on the back, and signature crest on the right sleeve. Of course, to stow away his necessary tools for hunting down his targets, six pockets are not excessive, but necessary.
